Customize & Edit section of the
Options window includes the following functionality: adding, editing, deleting
of the classifiers (projects, users, workstations and activities), applications,
documents and of the collected time.
To access Customize & Edit functionality, open Options window and select
groups under the Customize & Edit section (See Main
Window, Main Menu, Options).
Edit|Activities/Projects/Workstations/Users
Every Activity, Project, Workstation or User must have a unique name and may
have some description. Projects also may have Rate per Hour value.
To access Activities list, select Customize & Edit|Activities in the
Options window.
To access Projects list, select Customize & Edit|Projects in the Options
window.
To access Workstations list, select Customize & Edit|Workstations in
the Options window.
To access Users list, select Customize & Edit|Users in the Options window.
Add... - click this button to add a new activity, project, workstation
or user.
Clicking this button opens a window where you can enter a name, description,
rate per hour (projects only).
Edit... - click this button to edit selected activity, project, workstation
or user.
Clicking this button opens a window where you can edit the name, description,
rate per hour (projects only).
Delete... - click this button to delete selected activity, project,
workstation or user.
Clicking this button opens a window where you'll be proposed to decide what
should be done to the collected data (if any). Collected data can be deleted
or moved.
Move... - click this button to move selected activity, project, workstation
or user.
Clicking this button opens a window where you'll be proposed to select where
selected activity, project, workstation or user should be moved.
Edit|Applications
Application Group - applications can de assigned to a group (Ex.
Work, Games etc.).
Refresh - click this button to refresh application group drop-down
list.
Edit... - click this button to edit selected application.
Delete... - click this button to delete selected application.
Edit|Application Groups
Add... - click this button to add a new application group.
Edit... - click this button to edit selected application group.
Delete... - click this button to delete selected application group.
Edit|Documents
Document Group - documents can de assigned to some group (Ex. Work,
Games etc.).
Refresh - click this button to refresh document group drop-down list.
Edit... - click this button to edit selected document.
Delete... - click this button to delete selected document.
Edit|Document Groups
Add... - click this button to add a new document group.
Edit... - click this button to edit selected document group.
Delete... - click this button to delete selected document group.
Edit|Time
If you forgot to start WorkTime tracking or to switch between projects,
use Time Editing feature to correct collected time manually.
Note: This feature is not recommended for everyday use, because changing
collected time manually may cause discrepancy in projects and applications
reports. To minimize using time editing, setup WorkTime to launch and start
tracking automatically on Windows startup (See Options
- General, Options - Tracking),
also you can setup Project Autochange (See Options
- Tracking).
Date - define date to filter collected time.
Refresh - click this button to reload collected time list.
Editing Note - click this link to read a note about using Time Editing
feature.
Add... - click this button to add a new time manually.
Delete... - click this button to delete selected time record.
Start Time, Finish Time, Project, User, Activity,
Workstation and State (See WorkTime
Terminology- Tracking for more information about tracking states) -
these fields display settings of selected time record. Use them to edit
time records.
Post - click this button to post changes.
Cancel - click this button to cancel changes.
Note - a read-only filed that displays selected note.
Edit - click this button to edit or delete selected note text.
